How One Enterprise Turned Their QA test scripts into a 24/7 Product Training System

DemoPro transforms existing test scripts into interactive, multilingual walkthroughs with real-time AI guidance and support.

The Situation

The client is a US-based telecom enterprise running complex, multi-workflow software across multiple teams and regions.

The organization faced several challenges:

  • Every new customer cohort required live onboarding sessions with product specialists.

  • Product updates triggered repeated video re-recording, often taking 2–5 days per workflow.

  • Support teams handled recurring questions already covered in documentation.

  • Global users lacked on-demand, multilingual guidance across time zones.

The initiative: Replace manual demonstrations and reactive support with AI-driven walkthroughs and conversational assistance available around the clock.

What was breaking and What it was Costing

Complex enterprise applications require users to navigate multiple workflows, understand system behaviour, and troubleshoot unexpected situations. When guidance depends on specialists, onboarding slows down and support demand grows.

Key Challenges:

The client needed an AI product expert capable of guiding users, answering questions, and troubleshooting workflows without relying on constant human intervention.

The Insight That Changed Everything

The QA team already maintained detailed Robot Framework automation scripts documenting application screens, workflows, and user actions.

This content was regularly updated alongside the product but used primarily for testing.

TechTez recognised an opportunity: turn existing test scripts into reusable, continuously updated training content.

DemoPro was built around this principle, transforming QA automation into an interactive product learning and support experience.

The TechTez Approach

TechTez developed DemoPro, an AI-powered platform that converts existing automation scripts into narrated walkthroughs with visual guidance and an integrated, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) assistant.

Four design principles shaped the solution:

  1. Reuse Existing Automation: DemoPro reads the QA team’s existing test suite, eliminating the need for a separate training content creation process. When workflows change, affected training components can be regenerated.
  2. Generate Contextual AI Narration: Claude analyses test steps and generates clear, conversational explanations of each action and its purpose.
  3. Synchronise Audio and Video: A custom Python library aligns narration with the corresponding on-screen actions, producing polished walkthroughs without manual post-production.
  4. Enable Interactive, On-Demand Support: Users can ask questions by voice or text while watching a demo. The RAG assistant retrieves relevant product documentation and delivers contextual answers with source citations and optional voice playback.

Impact & Results

DemoPro enabled a shift from trainer-dependent onboarding to a self-service learning and support model.

The platform helped users understand workflows through guided demonstrations, resolve questions during product usage, and access consistent training across teams and regions.

By reducing dependence on repetitive knowledge-transfer sessions, it also allowed product and support specialists to focus on more complex issues.
